The City of Swainsboro is dedicated to the role recycling can play in fostering a more sustainable future. A City Department is charged with promoting and implementing a policy in Swainsboro that ensures that recycling is a priority of our community. Designed as a drop-off facility, The Recycling Center is open 24 hours a day. The warehouse is open weekdays from 8am-4pm. The Recycling Center accepts: Glass, Aluminum Drink Cans, Plastic Milk Jugs, Plastic Soft Drink Bottles, Cardboard, Newspapers and Magazines.
