For almost two decades, Swainsboro’s Recycling Department has been charged with promoting and implementing a policy in Swainsboro that ensures that recycling is a priority of our community. Designed as a drop-off facility, The Recycling Center is open 24 hours a day. The warehouse is open weekdays from 8am-4pm.
The Recycling Center accepts:

- Aluminum Drink Cans
- Plastic Milk Jugs
- Plastic Soft Drink Bottles
- Cardboard
- Newspapers
- Magazines

The mission of the Swainsboro’s Recycling Center is to direct recycling operations throughout the City in a cost-effective, environmentally safe, reliable and efficient manner.
