The Swainsboro-Emanuel County Parks and Recreation Department will hold Spring Sports Registration February 14-18 and February 21-25 at the Recreation Department, 632 McLeod Bridge Road, Swainsboro. Registration hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. First time participants must bring a birth certificate. Registration fee is $25 (insurance available for $6 extra) for the following sports:

T-Ball – Boys and girls ages 4,5, and 6. Player must be 4 before May 1, 2011, and cannot turn 7 before May 1, 2011. (There will be a separate league for 4 year olds.)

Girls Softball – Ages 7 through 17. Player must be 7 before Jan. 1, 2011, and cannot turn 18 before Jan. 1, 2011. (Girls who turn 7 years old between Jan. 1 and April 30 have their choice of playing T-ball or softball.)

Youth Baseball – Ages 13 – 14. Player must be 13 before May 1, 2011, and cannot turn 15 before May 1, 2011.
